Why I Tutor

In 2000, I discovered how much
I loved helping kids learn when they “just couldn’t get it”.

Engaging children in music or play had always been great, and watching that little light bulb go on when they understood something new was deeply heartwarming. But now, to witness
the dark frustration lift from this boy’s face when he finally “got it” after years of trying. Well, I was hooked on tutoring!

I’m now able to focus more fully on this passion of Empowering Kids to Achieve their Full
Potential. After moving to Winston-Salem at the beginning of the pandemic and now having
created this website, I’m looking forward to meeting new, local clients.
